Wind in the Willows, Kenneth Grahame             There are a few boats to which one whole heart goes out. That’s what we try to build.
            Good designers, carefully selected materials, and attentive workmanship are the inputs.
            If we are successful, we get boats which are beautiful and do their job well for a long time.
 
Design: We pick carefully from top designers.    Beauty: Is all-important to us. 
If it isn’t attractive, we won’t build it.
Materials: We use he most appropriate material we know of, from linseed oil to carbon fiber. 
The most frequently used materials are  wood,  epoxy and fiberglass.		   Function: We only build boats for uses which we know. Our experience helps us know what will work,   Modern materials and methods enable us to build boats to high strength and light weight.  Our boats work well.
Craftsmanship:  We do the best we can. Our tools and methods range from hundred-year old planes to CNC routers and vacuum bagging.   Longevity: With careful construction and reasonable maintenance, our boats can be long-lived.
